On Saturday, May 10, from 8:30AM til 2:00PM, we will be celebrating the new farmers' market season with lots of farm fresh food, barbecue, music and activities.

May 31, 2008 - Bike Smart Day

Ride your bike to the market and visit with organizations that are working hard to make the city and region more bike friendly. There will be raffles, free bike repairs and much more!

May 31, 2008 - The Politics of Food: State Senator Jeff Smith

We are introducing a new program at the market in 2008: The Politics of Food series. We are inviting area politicians to speak at the market about different food issues and how they can be addressed through policy changes. At 11:00am Senator Smith will be addressing corn subsidies and the effect they are having on state agriculture. There will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions following the speech.

Kickoff Festival Application is now available

If you are interested in vending at the kickoff festival, please fill out our vendor application and fax or mail it to us. We are looking for a wide variety of vendors with a focus on regionally grown and produced foods. We are also looking for artisans and artists. The fee for vending at the festival is $40.

We are expecting a turnout of up to 3,000 visitors to the festival.
